Milestones
In early 1990s, Folungwin started with board handling equipment. With the development of the company, Folungwin people realized that lead-free would inevitably become the trend of the electronic manufacturing industry. Based on this anticipation, Folungwin established its first lead-free R&D center in Dong Guan in 1995. All people working in the center had extensive industry knowledge and experiences and were keen to learn new knowledge. The company organized them to visit industry exhibitions and learn on site in customer workshops. The R&D people also analyzed vantages and disadvantages of existing suppliers for lead-free equipment.
After 5 year hard working, Folungwin introduced its own brand lead-free reflow oven and lead-free wave soldering machine in 2000.
In 2001, nitrogen reflow and wave were introduced to the market. Thanks to the steady performance of the machine and solid service and support infrastructure, Folungwin equipment were widely installed in the field in the coming years.
In 2002, Folungwin and China Southern University of Technology (CSUT) United R&D Center was established in Folungwin Dong Guan factory. More than 50 university doctors and masters have been working together with Folungwin engineering staff since then. More and more new products are released, from AVP series screen printer to Win series then Smart series, from offline AOI to inline AOI, from post reflow to post printing inspection, just to name a few.
Milestones of Folungwin Development
In 1991, Folungwin headquarters was established in Hong Kong.
In 1993, manufacturing factory was established in Dong Guan.
In 1995, Lead-free R&D Center was established in Dong Guan.
In 2000, Folungwin released lead-free reflow oven and wave soldering machine.
In 2002, Folungwin and China Southern University of Technology (CSUT) United R&D Center was established in Dong Guan.
In April 2006, V series AOI was released to the market.
In September 2006, Guang Dong Technology Bureau issued “High Tech Enterprise” certificate to Folungwin.
In June 2007, China Electronics Equipment Industrial Association (CEEIA) granted Folungwin with “China National Electronic Equipment Technology Innovation Award of year 2006”.
In October 2007, Dong Guan Technology Bureau issued “ Private Owned Technology Enterprise Certificate”.
In November 2007, Folungwin was awarded “ Excellent Innovation Enterprise of year 2006”.
In April 2008, Dong Guan Technology Bureau and Dong Guan Intellectual Properties Bureau issued “ Dong Guan Patent Cultivation Enterprise Certificate” to Folungwin.
